Sierra Madre Expedition

Venture into an outback that few are aware exists on this invigorating ATV safari and nature walk in the Sierra Madres.

Puerto Vallarta's wealth of natural resources, ecological attractions, and magnificent scenery make it an ideal place for outdoor recreation. Specifically designed for adventurous travelers and equipped with Mercedes Benz ATVs, this expedition goes through mountain streams, past forgotten villages, and over bumpy terrain until it reaches the heart of the Sierra Madres. In the depth of the forest, a knowledgeable, ecologically-trained guide conducts a 45-minute walk under the jungle canopy. The tour then travels to a golden expanse of virgin coastline for an alfresco lunch.

  Participant restrictions:
  Participants must be at least 8 years old. This tour is not recommended for people with difficulties walking or with back problems.
  
  Note:
  Reservation confirmation is required. Please arrive at the departure point at least 30 minutes prior to departure.
  
  Please wear tennis shoes or closed-toe sandals, as you will be walking over uneven ground and through forested areas. Bring towels, sunscreen, and a bathing suit.
  

After you book your activity, follow these 3 easy steps:
1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site.
2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it is critical to do this before you depart.
3. Take all vouchers with you; you must redeem one voucher per person.

Exchange your voucher for activity:
Reservation confirmation is required. Please contact Vallarta Adventures at least 48 hours in advance to confirm your tour date and reserve your departure location and time; the customer service phone number appears on your printed voucher(s). On the day of your tour, please arrive at the departure point at least 30 minutes prior to departure. Upon check-in, you will be required to present one voucher per person along with valid photo identification.
